Redlands removalists who can take your move across the bay, not just across town
Local Redlands removalists for the bayside suburbs and the Moreton Bay islands. We read the access first, and when a move keeps going past the boat ramp we book the vehicle barge and time the crossing around the tide and the timetable, then quote it honestly.

Moving to an island? Chart the crossing.
Pick your island and what you are moving, and the planner shows the terminal, whether the truck drives onto the vehicle barge, and exactly what the crossing adds to the day. Built from the real Redland Bay and Cleveland barge routes, not a generic calculator.

Full home moves, single heavy items, packing, storage and interstate, across the Redlands mainland and onto the bay islands.
Every bay island, and how the truck gets there
The Redlands difference, charted. Each island is reached by a vehicle barge, so the truck drives on and your move crosses with it. Pick the planner for your crossing and a quote.
Barge availability and routes from the island ferry operators and Redland City Council. We confirm the current timetable and book the deck on your quote. Open the planner →
The mainland Redlands, read as a move
Not a postcode tour. Each suburb is read on its access — driveway streets, foreshore villages, acreage gates — and the three that host a barge terminal are flagged. Pick yours for the local detail and a quote.

- STEP 04

Local knowledge, careful hands, honest quotes
We plan the crossing, not just the kerb
A bay-island move is a normal removal with one added leg. We book the truck onto the vehicle barge, work to the timetable and the tide, and build the crossing and the queue into the day so nothing runs late.
We read the access at both ends
A foreshore villa, an acreage gate at Mount Cotton, a new-estate driveway at Thornlands — we size the truck and crew to the home, so a simple move stays simple and a tricky one is planned, not improvised.
Insured, every leg
Your belongings are covered while we carry them, including the part of an island day spent on the barge. Wrapping and protecting your home is part of the job, not an extra line.
Transparent quotes
A clear quote on your actual move and crossing. What you are told up front is what you pay, with no day-of surprises at the ramp.
Good to know before you move
Can you move us to a Moreton Bay island?
Yes — that is the move we know best. The four southern islands (Russell, Macleay, Lamb and Karragarra) go from the Weinam Creek terminal at Redland Bay, North Stradbroke from Toondah Harbour at Cleveland, and Coochiemudlo from the Victoria Point ramp. Each is served by a vehicle barge, so the truck drives on and your furniture crosses with it. We book the deck and time the run to the timetable and tide. Try the Bay Island Move Planner for your island.
Does my furniture have to come off the truck for the ferry?
No. These are vehicle barges, not foot ferries, so the loaded truck drives onto the deck and off at the island. We book the deck space ahead because it is limited, and we plan the crossing into the day.
Do I need a permit to load a removal truck in the Redlands?
For a standard household move, generally no — we load from your driveway or the legal kerb. A Redland City Council approval only comes in for things like a skip or a crane standing on the road. We confirm what your address needs before the day.
How much does a Redlands move cost?
Our online-quote rates start at $200/hour for two movers and a truck ($250 for three, $400 for a larger crew with two trucks). An island move adds the barge crossing, which we quote honestly once we know the island and the load. You get a clear indicative quote up front, with no surprises on the day.
